Year 2025 Reflection

  • Resumed writing blogs after a long gap of nearly 3 years.

  • Completed a challenging trek at Gingee Fort with my wife and two kids, climbing both Rajagiri and Krishnagiri hills on the same day.

Gingee Fort

  • My kids (aged 3 and 7) ran their first mini marathon.

kids Marathon

  • Completed my first 10-miler twice, once in Chennai and once in Bangalore. The Bangalore run, done in the rain, was something special.

10 Mile

  • Attempted my first half marathon; although knee pain at 10K forced me to walk the rest, I completed the race despite missing the 2:30 cutoff.

  • Shifted residence from Chennai to Bangalore (I have already written a blog post on this).

  • Convinced my wife and switched to a full bald look; my kids accepted it, but playful jokes are now part of daily life.

Bald

  • Taught my 8-year-old son how to cycle.

  • Enjoyed several family road trips including Blue Flag Kovalam, Mahabalipuram, and Pondicherry.

The years ahead are simple in my mind: better health, more time with loved ones, and more reasons to smile. Just living, slowly, and going with the flow.
